A team of Air Force investigators on Sunday found the 3,500-pound engine of a C-I 30 cargo airplane that caught fire and fell off during a routine [sic] training mission Sept. 5 in ScotlandCounty.
In other news, Miss Mavis Beamwell rolled her Pontiac Bonneville over three times after dodging a wildebeest on US Route 6 during a routine commute to work, a python swallowed Timothy Smuggins, age six, during a routine field trip to the zoo, and a routine cold front rained frogs, catfish, and Antarctic penguins on Fayetteville area shoppers.
On Friday, the State Board of Grammar and Usage is holding a routine meeting to discuss the use of the word "routine." The fire marshal has been alerted, and poison control centers will be standing by.
